Classic music is not always classical!

This Satori concert program was a sampling of the classics from many genres and eras ... madrigals, barbershop, spirituals, the Beatles, and yes, some opera choruses!

The selections spanned some four centuries ... from the Renaissance to the Sixties ... and include such favorites as Ave Maria (Biebl), The Silver Swan, the traditional spiritual Go Down, Moses, Try to Remember (from The Fantasticks) and the Pilgrims' Chorus from Tannhauser.

Artistic Director Susan Dorn designed a showcase for "Men Singing Peace", performing the classics of yesteryear!  She created the fun and excitement of hearing old songs in a new way.  It was a classic evening of beautiful music.
